The process of Art and Design making allows individuals to explore the self, express ideas and connect with their surrounding environment.

The Alt aims to provide a space where individuals from all backgrounds can connect with their community, find relief from every day pressures, express themselves, gain new skills and play.
By acting as a bridge between different art communities in Toronto, and the rest of Canada, The Alt hopes to make art more accessible for all and provide a basis for networking and skill building.

The Alt focuses on supporting local artists and designers through the exhibition and selling of their work and providing an opportunity to network with other artist communities.
